First you will need a float level gauge. You can either purchase KTM Part Number: 600.29.016.000, or you can fabricate your own using the following measurements captured in the following images by cmwoodys of the ADVRider Forum.
The last two are your critical measurements. This is the edge that will graze the bottom of the floats.
This part rides along the carburetor base. Hence the floats should be sitting 3mm above the base holding them upside down.
